AMEDF CERTIFIED ADVISER

One way to improve financial literacy and college preparedness is to increase the number of knowledgeable advisers available to families seeking professional assistance. The AMEDF's Certified Adviser program trains financial advisers to serve as counselors to help individuals and families plan for financial success.

Advisers benefit because helping individuals and families will establish lasting client relationships for advisers that offer services beyond AMEDF programs. Servicing AMEDF programs provide an excellent opportunity to showcase skills and expertise. Hundreds have completed the AMEDF Certified Adviser program and have enjoyed the positive exposure and satisfaction from helping individuals and families better prepare for financial needs. Certified advisers are also eligible to participate in AMEDF's college internship program to offer college credits and work experience for college juniors and seniors in communities serviced by an AMEDF Chapter.
